About the artist
I was born and raised on the west coast and moved to North Carolina in my early twenties. Art has been a passion on mine for quite some time and my skills with painting has progressed over the years. I have experimented with many different types of mediums, but painting in acrylics has always been my favorite. I have worked in the medical field for several years and have sort of stepped back a little from that to pursue my real passion!
I find inspiration in nature, people and things around me, and places I have traveled. Although some of my paintings look like still life, I paint them from my imagination. Some completely from my minds eye. I tend to paint moody colors with an occasional pop of color. Art has helped set my mind at ease and has brought so much happiness to my life. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share it with you.
